Holly Holm vacates the Legacy women’s bantamweight championship after leaving the promotion to compete for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Contenders are never determined to compete for the vacant Legacy women’s bantamweight championship. Legacy Fighting Championship ceases operations and folds by the end of the 2016 calendar year.  It is merged with Resurrection Fighting Alliance to form Legacy Fighting Alliance.
